House Sale Price Prediction| Machine Learning| Python  | MS Excel

• Developed a machine learning model and performed data wrangling techniques and correlation analysis to clean     the data
• Engineered features of the dataset to reduce dimensionality and decrease the complexity of the model
• Used different machine learning techniques like Supervised and Unsupervised learning
• Identified the best model to estimate the price as KNN Regressor with train and test scores of 0.83 and 0.79             respectively

  • Implemented a normalized data model by establishing entity relationships in MySQL Workbench

  • Analyzed the data in MySQL using aggregation, joins and sub-queries

  • Analyzed and interpreted the data in MongoDB using the aggregation pipeline framework

Estimate the effect of right to carry gun laws on crime rate | Stata |Python |Tableau

  • Performed econometric models on panel data to research and analyze the effect of right to carry gun laws on the crime rate

  • Performed exploratory data analysis in Python, created visualizations in Python Seaborn and Tableau

  • Conducted hypothesis tests on several attributes from the models to deal with problems like endogeneity and heteroskedasticity

  • The analysis inferred relatively low correlation between the laws implemented and associated crime reduction in the USA

Scanner Data Analysis | SAS | MS Excel

• Performed exploratory data analysis for different brands and provided market insights for the panel dataset
• Computed interpretations using Fixed effect to understand the effects of different variables on sales of brands, multinomial logit for the choice of customers in choosing a particular brand and segmentation through RFM to get the best group of customers
• Conducted brand analysis and gave actionable insights and recommendations to increase sales and market share

Analysis of UNICEF’s flagship publication - IAS Hackathon | Tableau |MS Excel

  • Analyzed key issues impacting children using Tableau and presented various graphical insights using dashboards

  • Recommendations were given based on the insights to improve the 'under-5 mortality rate' of children

Analyzing Risk Factors in Transportation in USA | Hadoop | Hive | Tableau | R
• Imported Excel files into Hadoop and created tables using Hive queries
• Integrated the data with R to perform logistic regression and predict the areas where the Risk Factor would be highest
• Created a dashboard using Tableau to identify the drivers from the organization who posed an insurance risk and presented graphical conclusions about causalities

• Integrated HDFS tables with Tableau, analyzed and created visualizations using OBDC and JBDC driver
